How to Build a School Orientation Presentation

I hope you had a great weekend.  I have been creating video tutorials to add to YouTube to share with you.  Here is one I want to share with you today. If you click on the picture below, you can learn how to build a School Orientation Presentation for You or Your School Administrators.

Here are the instructions for the video tutorial:

You will build a School Orientation Presentation for your school administration.  The presentation will consist of 6 or more slides that you can use when having student and parent orientation meetings.

Step 1: Open up PowerPoint 2010 or 2007

Step 2. Learn how to create 6 slides

Slide 1: Type the title of your School and subtitle of (Your Name or Your Administrators Name)

Slide 2: Type the title "School Administrators" and the names of your administrators

Slide 3: Type the title "School Hours" and the hours of your school

Slide 4: Type the title "School Supplies" and the supplies your students will need.

Slide 5: Type the title "Important Phone Numbers"

Slide 6: Type the title "Uniform/Dress Code" or a Welcoming Statement for your staff, parents or students

Step 3. Add the Back to School Design Template to your PowerPoint

Power Point Keyboard Shortcuts

Hope you are doing well this week.  Today I will be blogging about Power Point Tips and Hints.  One of the main hints and tips I will be discussing has to do with shortcuts.  Power Point 2003, 2007 and 2010 shortcuts are enabled when you use the Control button, which is located on the bottom right and left side of your keyboard. 

You will see a key that says Ctrl.  You will get many choices when you hold down the the Ctrl button and a letter.  Listed below are a few keyboard shortcuts you can use in Power Point.  Also listed below those commands are keyboard shortcuts used with ALT.  The ALT button is located on each side of your space bar.  Simply click on the picture below to download the shorcuts document.
